Health officials visited Iztaccihuatl Restaurant during the inspection. According to the report, the Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of the Philadelphia Food Code. They also observed that several raw animal foods were stored above ready-to-eat foods in the walk-in cooler.
The inspectors noted the front door open during the inspection; the outer opening in the food facility does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals.
