‘We have peace’: West Philly block sees rebirth after years as crime hotspot

It’s a community that, neighbors said, was in crisis.

For years, Geraldine Brown, who lives near the intersection of 52nd and Arch streets in West Philadelphia, said her community has been a hotspot for crime.
