Thieves steal meat from truck outside South Philly Chick-fil-A, driver speaks out

A Texas truck driver is speaking out after police say thieves stole meat from his vehicle outside a South Philadelphia Chick-fil-A early Friday morning.

The theft occurred around 5 a.m. along the 2600 block of Penrose Avenue. The truck driver, who did not want to be identified, told NBC10 he was delivering meat in the area. He stopped in the parking lot of a Chick-fil-A and was sleeping in his cab when he heard a rattling sound.

“They must’ve had some kind of machine man, to cut the steel, because I have a lock on here,” the driver said. “They cut the whole steel.”…
