Rev. Charles F. Boyer, the founder of the Salvation and Social Justice organization, believes his purpose is to help guide his community from systems of oppression, such as reformation of the criminal justice system.
“I’m always thinking about God and always thinking about my people, and I just love my people. I just love us and there’s nothing that frustrates me or gives me more joy than Black people,” said Boyer, 51, who is also the pastor of Greater Mt. Zion A.M.E. church, located at 42 Pennington Ave., in Trenton.
