The Cheltenham Township Police Department announced today that officers responded to a report of an abduction in progress at 3001 Cheltenham Avenue in Wyncote.
Police arrived approximately two minutes after the call was dispatched, the department said.
“Preliminary investigation indicates a person known to the victims took the adult victim’s vehicle with a two-year-old child in the vehicle,” the report said. “The adult victim located the vehicle and child at the above location and called 9-1-1. Cheltenham Police officers attempted to stop the vehicle and the operator fled in the vehicle, with the child.”…
