Docuseries examines case of teacher found with nearly 2 dozen stab wounds

PHILADELPHIA (NewsNation) — A new docuseries is examining the death of a Philadelphia teacher who was found dead inside her apartment in 2011 with nearly two dozen stab wounds to her body.

Airing on Hulu, the three-part series, “Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg,” deals with the family’s mission for more answers after their daughter’s death was initially labeled a suicide, changed to a homicide and later, again, to suicide.

Greenberg’s family reached a settlement agreement with Philadelphia officials to reopen the investigation into the teacher’s death more than 14 years after it happened.
