PHILADELPHIA, PA — What began as a quiet October night turned into chaos when a speeding car tore through a North Philadelphia intersection, collided with another vehicle, and crashed into the side of a family’s home — shaking the entire block awake in the middle of the night.

Police say the terrifying crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near Oxford Avenue, Horrocks Street, and Kenwyn Street in the city’s Frankford neighborhood.
Investigators believe a Honda ran a stop sign and slammed into a Toyota, sending the Toyota’s driver to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition. The violent impact launched the Honda off the road and directly into a nearby brick house.
