Philly installs Phlush public potty in Clark Park

A new Philly Phlush has arrived in West Philadelphia’s Clark Park.

Why it matters: We all gotta go, but public potties are still hard to come by in the city.

State of play: The third Philly Phlush is installed but not yet open to the public.

  • Opening date is TBD as the city awaits final inspections, city Department of Public Health spokesperson James Garrow tells Axios.
  • Located by the park’s basketball courts on S 43rd Street near Regent Square, the new bathroom is an upgrade from the park’s standard porta-potties.

Context: The city installed its first standalone loos in 2023 in North Philly’s Fotterall Square and Center City.
