Norristown teen accused of carjackings loses bid for juvenile court

NORRISTOWN — A Norristown teenager accused of taking part in multiple carjackings during his alleged association with a hybrid street gang has lost his bid to transfer his case to juvenile court.

After a two-day hearing, Montgomery County Judge Thomas M. DelRicci ordered that Micus F. Golson, who was 17 at the time he allegedly took part in three alleged carjackings and two attempted carjackings between January and March, will continue to face charges of corrupt organizations, robbery of a motor vehicle, conspiracy, attempted robbery of a motor vehicle, theft, aggravated assault and firearms not to be carried without a license in adult court.

The carjackings and attempted carjackings occurred in Norristown, Whitemarsh Township, and Philadelphia during Golson’s alleged association with the “Grimy Boys/Da 6/600s” street gang…
