Police: Man drove to 35th police dist. HQ after being hurt in Nicetown shooting

An investigation is underway after, police said, a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound as he sat in a vehicle outside the 35th police district headquarters in Philly’s Ogontz section early Sunday.

According to police, officers discovered a 32-year-old man, who had been shot in the arm, was found seated inside a red Dodge Charger, along with a woman in the passenger seat, in the parking lot of the 35th police district headquarters along the 5900 block of North Broad Street at about 4:09 a.m. on Sunday.

The man, officials said, he was shot while sitting in his vehicle near the intersection of Hunting Park Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard and drove to the district for help…
