Samiyah Owens. 23, of New York, and Tyron Bowman, 36, of New York, are facing felony charges after attempting to cash fraudulent checks, according to police.
On Friday, Nov. 7 at 3:57 p.m., the Whitpain Township Police Department was dispatched to the Citizens Bank located at 599 Skippack Pike in Blue Bell for a report of a suspect depositing suspected fraudulent checks at the ATM.
The man was identified as a Black male wearing a high-visibility vest and jeans. Officers arrived on scene and located the man inside the bank, where he identified himself verbally as “Tyron Bowman” and claimed he was only there to obtain a new ATM card…
