NORRISTOWN – Mike Trail has plans to be a hands-on leader in law enforcement as he settles into his new role as chief of the Norristown Police Department.
Trail, 54, of Lansdale, was sworn in as Norristown’s police chief in early November, but the former Lansdale police chief began his new role getting up to speed in October. With the next chapter in Trail’s story set in Norristown, he says there’s nowhere else he’d rather be.
“I needed to seek more purpose and meaning, and there’s no place [with] more purpose right now than Norristown. There’s challenges there, but there’s a tremendous amount of opportunity,” Trail said in an early November interview…
