There is nothing more healing and heartwarming than seeing a celebrity give back to children. Even when celebrities make it big, they tend to leave their roots in the place they used to call home. This is a reality for Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson. Having grown up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she recounts the amazing memories she made in her school years. Some of her best memories were during field trips. She’s now giving back to children in Philadelphia schools in the most amazing way.
A TikTok video posted by @where.to.next1 shows what Quinta decided to do to give back to children in Philadelphia. Her Quinta Brunson Field Trip Fund will provide field trips to underserved children in Philadelphia schools. This was incredibly vital for Quinta to do for Philly children because it holds a special place in her heart. Having grown up in Philly, Quinta said that field trips were among her best memories at school. According to her, they “opened my world, sparked my creativity, and helped me imagine a future beyond what I saw every day.”
