NORRISTOWN — With a split verdict, a Montgomery County jury acquitted a West Chester man who worked as an Uber driver of charges he touched a female passenger in an indecent manner but determined he did harass her during a ride share trip in Whitpain Township.
Robert Travers Corcoran, 62, of the 1600 block of Eldridge Drive, was acquitted of a misdemeanor charge of indecent assault without consent in connection with what authorities alleged was a Feb. 10, 2025, incident that occurred along Meredith Lane in the Blue Bell section of Whitpain.
After the two-day trial and about 90 minutes of deliberations, the jury convicted Corcoran of a less serious misdemeanor charge of harassment.
