A Georgia man who bypassed standard security checkpoints at Philadelphia International Airport by using an employee’s identification badge has been sentenced to federal supervision.
United States Attorney David Metcalf announced that David Easley, 39, appeared before U.S. District Judge Gail A. Weilheimer, who handed down a sentence of 26 months of supervised release. As part of the sentence, Easley must serve the first two months under home confinement.
The charges stem from a security breach that occurred on the evening of March 9, 2024. According to court documents, Easley was a ticketed passenger scheduled to fly home to Atlanta on a 7:05 p.m. flight.
