Sharron Boddy-Adedipe took the Greyhound from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, her newborn and 5 year-old daughter in tow. She was on her way to Philadelphia’s Criminal Justice Center to get information on her son, who had been jailed the night before.
When she got there, she looked around the center’s packed lobby, filled with distraught people trying to contact a locked-up loved one and find out about their charges and court dates.
