The Wanamaker building was packed throughout Christmas Eve as thousands of visitors gathered for a final look at the historic Wanamaker Light Show before it goes dark during a two-year hiatus. The building will be under construction during the 2026 and 2027 holiday seasons.
For many, the show has lasted a lifetime, whether that lifetime spans decades, or just a few years.
