MANAHAWKIN — A disturbance at a long-term care facility in Stafford Township ended with the arrest of a Trenton man accused of assaulting a healthcare worker, authorities said.
According to the Stafford Township Police Department, officers were called shortly after 1:15 p.m. December 26 to Manahawkin Health & Rehabilitation Center on Route 72 for a report of a disorderly patient.
Police said a 37-year-old male patient struck a nurse in the head with a bottle of apple juice, resulting in minor injuries. The nurse was treated and did not require hospitalization. The patient was not identified…
