PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating an unusual hit-and-run on Wednesday night in the Kingsessing neighborhood, where a man was reportedly struck by two vehicles and dragged for blocks.
Officers were called around 7:30 p.m. to Woodland Avenue near Grays Ferry Avenue, where they found a man dead on the street.
As detectives were investigating, they found a silver Hyundai at a Popeye’s nearby, where the driver, a 75-year-old woman, said she thought she ran over a carpet while driving to get food, somewhere along Grays Ferry Avenue near 34th Street, on the other side of the bridge…
