A South Jersey scrapyard owner tied to multiple explosive fires and other incidents, has plagued one community for too long and needs to be held accountable, New Jersey authorities said Monday.
Eastern Metal Recycling, or EMR, has been linked to at least 12 “hazardous fires” in Camden throughout the last five years, state Attorney General Matt Platkin and Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Shawn LaTourette said while filing a new public nuisance lawsuit.
