United States Attorney David Metcalf announced on Friday that Dante Shackleford, 26, and Mujahid Davis, 24, both of Philadelphia, were charged by superseding indictment in connection with multiple robberies and attempted robberies last year that targeted armored trucks, including the Brinks truck outside of H-Mart in the Elkins Park section of Cheltenham Township in August 2025.
According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Shackleford and others were involved in an attempted robbery of a Brinks truck in Elkins Park on July 22 as well.
Shackleford was arrested and charged by indictment in October following the attempted robbery of an armored truck on the Philadelphia side of City Avenue that led to a pursuit and an hours-long incident. Several suspects were arrested in Lower Merion…
