PENNSYLVANIA — A winter weather advisory remains in effect Sunday for parts of southeastern Pennsylvania, with snow expected to create slippery travel conditions throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory covers much of southeast Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery and Chester counties, where snowfall totals of 2 to 4 inches are expected between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday. Cities and communities in the advisory area include Philadelphia, Doylestown, Perkasie, Chalfont, Norristown, Lansdale, Collegeville, West Chester, Kennett Square, Oxford, Pottstown, Media and Honey Brook.
Forecasters said snow will lead to slick and potentially hazardous road conditions across the region, especially during periods of heavier snowfall.
Separate winter weather advisories are in effect for Lancaster, York and Lebanon counties. In those areas, snowfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected. The advisory for Lancaster and York counties, including the cities of Lancaster and York, remains in effect until 3 p.m. Sunday.
