A Philadelphia resident has been convicted by a jury in the fatal shooting of a Jersey Shore man that happened following a fight in 2023.
Jamar Jones, 37, was found guilty of first-degree murder as well as second-degree possession of a handgun for unlawful purpose and possession of a handgun without a permit, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement. A judge separately convicted him of second-degree certain persons not to possess weapons.
