Man dies after early morning violent crash in West Mount Airy, police say

WEST MOUNT AIRY (KYW Newsradio) — A man was killed when his car plowed through the fence of a home in West Mount Airy early Sunday morning.

Philadelphia police said around 3:30 a.m., the 34-year-old man was driving on Pelham Road near Quincy Street when he suddenly lost control of his 2007 Dodge and hit a snowbank.

The car then plowed through the fence of a home on Pelham Road and came to a stop in its front yard…
