Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Drivers across the Delaware Valley could lose safe travel conditions as early as 4 a.m. Sunday as heavy snow spreads north and west, setting the stage for up to 16 inches in parts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey by Monday evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, Winter Storm Warnings begin at staggered times Sunday morning and remain in effect until 6 p.m. Monday. Snow starts as early as 4 a.m. in northern and central New Jersey, 7 a.m. in the Philadelphia metro and 10 a.m. across southern New Jersey and northern Delaware. Totals range from 8 to 16 inches in New Jersey, 10 to 16 inches in southeast Pennsylvania and 8 to 14 inches in New Castle and Kent counties, Delaware.
