Germantown Gunman Caught on Camera in Killing of Julius Chandler

Philadelphia police have dropped new surveillance video in the unsolved killing of Julius Chandler, hoping a clearer look at the gunman might finally shake loose the tip they have been waiting for. The footage shows a figure dressed in dark clothing firing at Chandler in broad daylight on March 25, 2021, and investigators say there is a $20,000 reward on the table for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Santo Montecalvo, vice president of the Citizens Crime Commission, told 6abc, “We’re looking for an armed gunman who is seen in video running through streets of Philadelphia shooting at the victim.” According to the station, the person in the clip is covered head to toe in dark clothing, with both face and head concealed.
