Five years after Charles “Chuckie” Maude III was gunned down while sitting in his car in Port Richmond, his family says time has done nothing to dull the pain. Maude, 24, was found shot on the 3200 block of Emerald Street on March 12, 2021, and died two days later, leaving behind two young daughters. In the years since, his loved ones have turned their grief into a very public mission, holding memorials and pushing for tips as they fight to keep his case from slipping into the unsolved pile.
