Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Commuters across the Philadelphia region could face sudden 60 to 70 mph wind gusts and scattered severe thunderstorms beginning by 3 p.m. Wednesday as a strong cold front pushes into a very warm and humid air mass.
According to the National Weather Service in Philadelphia/Mount Holly, isolated to scattered storms could develop during the late afternoon and continue into the evening hours.
