Montgomery County breaks ground on Norristown homeless facility

NORRISTOWN — Solutions addressing homelessness in Montgomery County progressed Tuesday as officials broke ground on a 50-bed supportive short-term housing facility in Norristown.

The ceremonial proceedings at the site located at 1430 DeKalb St. featured dignitaries from Montgomery County and its seat of Norristown who emphasized the important role the facility will play for the area’s most vulnerable residents.
