Pagans member charged in shootout at West Norriton Wawa wins bid for reduced bail

NORRISTOWN — A member of the Pagans Outlaw Motorcycle Gang won his bid for reduced bail, posted it and will remain free with special conditions while he awaits trial on charges he conspired with five other club members during a confrontation with a rival biker gang on the parking lot of the Wawa in West Norriton Township.

George Hripto Jr., 50, of the 200 block of East Fourth Street, Bridgeport, posted $99,000 cash bail, through a bondsman, this week and was released from the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await his May 18 trial on charges of aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering other persons and riot in connection with the alleged 9:12 p.m. Oct 17, 2025, altercation and shooting that occurred with two members of the rival Unknown Bikers Motorcycle Gang on the parking lot of the Wawa at 2544 W. Main St. in West Norriton, during which six people, including two innocent bystanders, were wounded.

As conditions of bail, Hripto can have no contact with the alleged victims, witnesses or co-defendants in person, by cellphone, in writing or by e-mail. Hripto cannot possess firearms and must stay away from Wawa, according to the conditions of release…
