Dalton Lee Janiczek, shackled in handcuffs, was escorted into court Wednesday afternoon and walked past a large group of Plymouth Township police officers who turned out in solidarity.
Among them was officer Jake Hennessy, who is still recovering from injuries sustained during the incident last fall.
