A Friday night shooting left a woman in critical condition after she was shot in the chest near Levick Street and Roosevelt Boulevard in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philadelphia just before 9:30 p.m., police said. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. Officers also found a man nearby who had suffered a graze wound.
Philadelphia Inspector D.F. Pace told NBC10 Philadelphia the shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. near Levick Street and Roosevelt Boulevard, and that no weapons had been recovered at the scene. SkyForce10 aerial footage showed several police cars clustered around the intersection as officers processed the area. As of the latest update, police had not announced any arrests.
