Allegiance Retail Services, a retailer-owned grocery cooperative, held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Compare & Save supermarket, 6515 Castor Ave.
The supermarket is owned by two co-op members and independent grocers, brothers both named Carlos Batista.
