SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — An older woman was hospitalized with burns Monday evening after a fire ripped through a Scottsdale apartment.
Firefighters were called out to the complex on Heatherbrae Avenue, near 78th Street and Indian School Road, around 5:30 p.m.
When they arrived, flames were coming from the bedroom. Crews started aggressively fighting the fire and rescued the woman.
She had burns and trouble breathing and was taken to a nearby burn center. Firefighters said she is in stable condition…
