Body found after fire extinguished at Glendale home

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A death investigation is underway after a fire led to the discovery of a body at a Glendale home early Sunday morning.

Glendale firefighters were initially called to fight the fire at a home near 63rd and Peoria avenues. While details remain limited at this time, a Glendale police sergeant confirmed to Arizona’s Family that a body was found at the home once the flames were extinguished.

Authorities are working to determine the victim’s cause of death. Glendale detectives and forensic scientists are processing the scene and collecting evidence…
