Buc-ee’s reveals opening date for first-ever Arizona location

Arizona is about to get its first Buc-ee’s location as the Texas travel center giant continues its rapid expansion across the United States. The opening date is quickly approaching and is set for later in June.

Buc-ee’s announces Arizona opening date

Buc-ee’s confirmed that its first Arizona store will officially open on June 22, 2026 in Goodyear, a fast-growing suburb west of Phoenix. The massive travel center is being built near Interstate 10 and Bullard Avenue and will mark the company’s westernmost location in the country.

Construction on the project began in 2025 after the company first announced plans for the Arizona location in March 2024. Initially expected to open earlier, the debut was delayed before Buc-ee’s finalized the June 2026 grand opening date.

Massive store planned for Goodyear

The Goodyear Buc-ee’s will span approximately 74,000 square feet and feature 120 fueling stations, making it one of the largest convenience stores in the Southwest. The location is expected to create more than 200 jobs.

Like other Buc-ee’s locations, the Arizona store will offer the chain’s signature brisket sandwiches, beef jerky, Beaver Nuggets, fudge, and large souvenir section. The company is also hiring for management, food service, cashier, and bookkeeping positions ahead of the opening…
