Some of the Ahwatukee-based Arizona Community Theatre Company’s alumni are coming home this summer—not just to perform, but to help inspire the next generation of actors.
AZACT’s production of the hit musical “Footloose” opens July 25 at the New School for the Arts & Academics, 1216 E. Apache Blvd, Tempe, bringing together current performers with graduates who first honed their skills on the company’s stage before heading off to college.
Performances are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. July 25, 2 p.m. July 26, 7 p.m. July 31 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 1. Tickets are at azact.org/events…
