A pawn shop dealing in diamonds, luxury watches and other high-end goods got a thumbs up from Gilbert despite concerns raised by Settler’s Point residents that it was not a good fit for their neighborhood.
The Planning Commission last week on a 7-0 vote granted a conditional use permit for Gold’s Jewelry and Loan to open at the Shops at Warner near Warner Road and Civic Center Drive.
