PHOENIX, AZ — A Phoenix girl who first noticed empty diaper shelves at a food bank when she was 8 has now helped deliver a major boost for local families. Four years after starting a diaper donation drive, Sloan’s fifth collection brought in nearly 30,000 diapers for Nourish Phoenix.
The nonprofit said that amount is enough to keep its shelves stocked into 2027. What began as a child’s response to a visible need has grown into a steady community effort that keeps supplying a basic item many families rely on every day.
