PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Peoria graphic designer’s artwork will soon appear on Arizona roads after the Grand Canyon Conservancy named him winner of its Grand Canyon specialty license plate design contest.
Grand Canyon Conservancy, the official nonprofit partner of Grand Canyon National Park, announced Peter Malamas as the winner Thursday. His design was selected to represent the national park on a new Arizona specialty license plate, which is expected to be available to drivers in late 2027.
