PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Phoenix Police have arrested a man they say sideswiped a patrol vehicle and then ran from authorities late Sunday night. According to officers, a marked patrol vehicle was headed east on Dobbins Road near 10th Avenue when 31-year-old Cassius Ivery tried to pass the police car and sideswiped it. At that point, police say Ivery and several others ran away into a nearby neighborhood. Authorities then deployed a helicopter and a K9 unit to locate and arrest Ivery. The officer only had minor injuries.
