PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – A man died late Monday night after he was shot in west Phoenix near a large shopping center. Police were called just before 10 p.m. to an area near 79th Avenue and Thomas Road, where they found the man. Police say there were two vehicles that left the area before officers arrived. However, there’s no information yet on the make and models of the vehicles or how many people were in them.
