Dog doused in gasoline, lit on fire in backyard of Phoenix home

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Phoenix police are searching for a suspect who doused a dog in gasoline and set himon fire at a Phoenix home earlier this week. It happened around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday at a home near 27th Avenue and Van Buren Street. Silent Witness reports that Duke, a 16-year-old pit bull/mastiff mix, was sleeping peacefully on a mattress in his backyard when he was burned.
