PHOENIX – A woman was found dead Monday in an Avondale apartment after an apparent drowning in a bathtub, authorities said. At 3:51 p.m., officers responded to a welfare check call on a 23-year-old woman at an apartment on Norton Street and Fourth Avenue. The family of the woman had not heard from her in two days.
