Tucker Carlson Apologizes For Laughing at Russell Brand’s Joke About Trafficking Children Across Southern Border

Tucker Carlson hosted a sit-down conversation with Russell Brand that covered a wide variety of topics, namely Brand’s recent spiritual awakening and baptism, but they couldn’t help having a laugh over child trafficking.

Carlson’s live tour made a stop in Phoenix, Arizona and he posted the entire hour-and-a-half conversation on Twitter/X on Thursday. After a rambling half-hour introduction at the podium, Carlson took a seat next to Brand in one of a pair of chairs and kicked off their conversation.

They shared a few minutes of banter, then Carlson got into the Real Talk:

Carlson: How would you describe where we are right now, as a world?

Brand: It’s a bit weird. Whole scenario is rather weird. Thank you so much for having me, a foreigner —

Carlson: [LAUGHS]

Brand: — in your country. Obviously, it was quite easy to get in, no passport, just traipsed in past the border. Trafficked a few kids over.

Carlson: [LAUGHS] I’m sorry! I’m sorry I laughed at that.

The two then launched into an existential conversation about the state of the world, during which Brand mentioned that he had to pee while he was listening to Carlson talk.
