Weekend of Violence in Phoenix Sees Fatal Stabbing and Double Injury, Police Seek Suspects and Community’s Help

Phoenix is grappling with a streak of violence following two separate stabbing incidents over the weekend. On Saturday evening, a man named Diego Razo-Cortes, 34, was fatally stabbed near a gas station on 28th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. FOX 10 Phoenix reported that Phoenix Police Sgt. Phil Krynsky stated, “When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound. The fire department responded and transported the man to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Officers searched for witnesses and surveillance of the incident.” The suspect in this case has not been apprehended.
