The file contains both scenes, the first scene featured is 1201 S. 7th Avenue followed by a 3 second cut to black, the second scene is 1300 E. Van Buren Street. At midnight, officers responded to the area of 1200 South 7th Avenue regarding multiple gunshot wound victims being dropped off at the old Phoenix Memorial Hospital. When officers arrived, they located four victims that had suffered at least one gunshot wound. A juvenile male and juvenile female, along with an adult male were all transported to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The final victim, a juvenile male (teenager), was also transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. This teen did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The original shooting scene was identified near 13th Street and Van Buren Street. Homicide Detectives have responded to assume the investigation. The location on Van Buren Street will be shut down for an extended period of time as the scene investigation is completed. Additional information related to this shooting remains part of the ongoing investigation. I expect to be able to give an update on this case through a media advisory later today.
