GILBERT, Ariz. – The Gilbert Police Department has launched an investigation after a woman was found dead in a street on Saturday. GPD told 12News that they were called at about 4:51 a.m. on Saturday about a woman, who was not responsive, lying in the road near Lindsay Road and Melody Drive. That area is just south of the intersection of Lindsay and Baseline roads.
