PHOENIX – Officials with the National Weather service say various parts of the state, including the Phoenix area, can expect record-breaking heat in the days ahead. On their website, forecasters said Phoenix can expect a high of 109°F on Thursday, 110°F on Friday, and 109°F for Saturday and Sunday. The record high temperatures for all four days are 105°F, with the record on Sunday having been set in 1917.
