Phoenix police dispatched to high school dance, juvenile taken into custody

PHOENIX – A juvenile was taken into custody Saturday night during a school dance in Phoenix for allegedly assaulting an officer. The Phoenix Police Department said officers were dispatched to Betty H. Fairfax High School near 59th Avenue and Baseline Road after a mother called 911 reporting students were allegedly “flashing guns” during the homecoming dance on campus.
